The environment continues to be a topic on everyone's minds and has certainly become a factor when prospective car buyers are shopping for their next vehicle. Fuel-economy and emissions have become the specs everyone looks at, so much so, that many manufacturers are shifting their development towards zero emission vehicle. Though these vehicles have been around for a while, the market has now generated enough demand and enough vehicles that Canadian Black Book introduced a new award for this category last year. In 2020, the Ford Focus snapped up the Best Retained Value Award.Visually not much different that gas-powered version, the Focus electric has the same tight backseat and limited trunk space. Despite this, the Focus electric offers a balanced and quiet ride with an attractive interior complete with many high-tech options. With the annual leaps that are being made on improving the range of EV's, the 2016 Ford Focus is the low end compared to some new models at about 120 kms, but this is probably plenty of range for most commuters. So, if you are ready to get into a zero emission vehicle, the 2016 Ford Focus is a popular choice that retains it value much better than its competition.
