Zero Emission Vehicle

BMW i3

Well it finally happened. Zero emission vehicles have been around long enough and in enough numbers to start to make a splash in the used car market. Canadian Black Book had added the zero emission category to our annual Best Retained Value Awards for the first time. The BMW i3 is the first winner. Like a lot of early electric vehicles, the i3 styling makes it stand out from most of the non-green, emission producing vehicles on the road. The interior feels high quality as you would expect from BMW. There is also plenty of practical features including comfortable seating front and rear as well as fold down rear seats that allow for a good amount of cargo room. With the annual leaps that are being made on improving the range of EV’s, the 2015 BMW i3 is at the low end versus some new models at about 130 kms, but this is probably plenty of range for most commuters. So if you are ready to get into a zero emission vehicle, the 2015 BMW i3 is a popular choice.
