Toyota Canada Inc. distributes Toyota, Lexus and Scion to dealerships throughout Canada. Since 1964, Toyota has sold more than four million vehicles and has its head office in Toronto, Ontario. The company employs more than 24,000 Canadians and in 2014 celebrated their 50th anniversary in Canada.

A Brief History
Toyota was founded in 1937 and headquartered in Japan. It manufactures cars worldwide and is seen as the largest automotive brand in the world, with various divisions and millions of vehicles sold to date.
During the 1990s, the company has expanded their operations to manufacture a range of larger and more luxurious vehicle to the public. They also started production on several SUVs as well as a sports version of the Camry. They have a large presence in Europe, and the company has decided to set up the Europe marketing and engineering division.
Toyota manufactures a wide variety of vehicles, and one of the most popular ones is the Prius, which is a hybrid car that offers three different models: the Prius, the Prius Technology and the Prius Touring. The Touring model provides a fuel efficiency average of 4.5 L/km and a 1.8 L four-cylinder hybrid engine.
In addition to the Prius, Toyota has other well-known and admired models such as the Camry and Lexus, and also partnered with Tesla Motors to create a series of electric vehicles in 2010. Toyota has a body style for any family situation with compact models like the Yaris and the Corolla, but also the popular Toyota Sienna, when you need that extra seating and space. Toyota also has a range of reliable crossovers that includes the RAV4 and the Highlander.

Toyota's Motorsport division has its headquarters in Germany and it has been responsible for the company’s great motor sports development, including Formula One and the World Rally Championship. Toyota also has the Toyota Racing Development program, which aims to help develop thorough, high-performance racing parts for a variety of their models.
