A Brief History

Suzuki Loom Works was founded in 1909 in Japan. The business grew quite quickly and they decided to start building small cars in 1937. Within two years they had completed various prototype cars. The first Suzuki motor was powered by a liquid cooled 4-stroke engine and had an aluminum crankcase and transmission, and generated only 13 horsepower. The company was started by Michio Suzuki and was born out of a need for lower-priced cars for the middle-class Indian. This has changed over the years and Suzuki has expanded its product range to include models such as the Maruti 800 and the Maruti Suzuki Kizashi sedan.

Suzuki has a variety of popular vehicles and these include the Solio and the Ruby Swift. The Swift is a compact car that has a spacious cabin, stylish looks, and great economy. The Swift+ comes with a 1.6L, four-cylinder engine and the choice between a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission.

The Suzuki SX4 is a compact car that was developed jointly by Suzuki and Fiat and it is available as a sedan or hatchback. It comes in both front and four-wheel drive and has a very modern design. It offers the option between a 1.6L DOHC VVT engine, a 2.0L DOHC VVT engine, or a 2.0L DDiS diesel engine.

Suzuki is a brand known for their practical, compact cars that offers a lot to their customers. They continually improve their technology, expand their line up, and offers affordable vehicles that are suitable for drivers of all ages.
