When it comes to luxury automotive cars, Porsche is definitely a name that stands out. The company is known to specialise in luxury, high-performance cars, and their headquarters is located in Germany. Porsche is owned by Volkswagen, and currently manufactures a variety of well-known models such as the Cayenne, 911 and Panamera.

Porsche was founded more than 80 years ago and has since proved itself when it comes to performance cars. It is interesting to note that that the company logo is based on the coat of arms of the former Weimar company; a very popular logo that the company feels their customers can familiarize with.

The company was founded in 1931 and has their headquarters in Germany. It is owned by Volkswagen, which is also owned by Porsche Automobil Holding SE. The company currently has various luxury models available, including the 718 Boxster and the 911.

After the war in Germany, car parts were in short supply so they used some parts from Volkswagen Beetle to complete the 356 automobile. In 1964, the company had success in the motor racing field and this has also led to the company launching the brand-new Porsche 911. This is a rear engine air cooled car, with a very popular design.

Porsche Cars Canada is a subsidiary of Porsche AG, and imports vehicles into Canada. Porsche sells almost 10,000 units in Canada every year and remains a growing brand, popular among upmarket, sophisticated drivers.

Popular Porsche models

The company has a wide range of very popular sports models that can be seen around the world. This includes the popular 911, as well as the Boxster and Cayenne. Porsche has also designed the very popular Panamera, with sales on this model growing every year.

The Panamera has an output of 550 hp, comes in all-wheel drive, and has a top speed of around 306 km/h. It offers a fuel consumption of 11.2 L/100 km and accelerates from 0 - 100km/h in 3.8s. It's a beautifully stylish sedan, with a completely restyled interior and powerful engine.

Porsche has also designed various racing models, including the Porsche 718, the 904, 918, and the 956. They also have a range of prototype and concept cars available, which might be released for production in coming years. Porsche remains one of the biggest brands when it comes to luxury performance cars and they are known for their stylish designs and high-performance abilities.
